Snap comes pre-installed on almost all the distros, and to check if it’s installed on your Linux PC, just type snap -versionĪnd the output will look something like this. Now, double-click on the file to open it in Pamac. Open the file manager and go to zoom download linux zoom download linux folder where you downloaded the file. rpm installer and double-click to install. The browser will start downloading the TAR file on your computer. You can easily install Zoom in Linux Debian, Ubuntu and Ubuntu-based distros, Oracle Linux, CentOS, RedHat, Fedora, and OpenSUSE. Once done we are ready to test the Zoom client install.
This takes a little while to run, a minute or two, as it downloads the Zoom client then runs through the install. I’ll download Zoom for Ubuntu as I’m using an Ubuntu-based Linux Distro Pop!_OS.
